ZOOM is an organization where anyone, whether hobbyists or professionals, can hang out and do fun activities together, like on-campus and off-campus photo walks. During my time in ZOOM, I fell in love with the warm and welcoming community that helped me grow both as a photographer and as a student leader. The people in the org challenged me to experiment more with my craft, which allowed me to grow in ways I never expected. It’s a really fun and chill org where I was able to make friends who I could share both my photography and non-photography interests with.

The connections I have made and the lessons I have learned being both a photographer and leader for the organization transformed me to becoming an all-around better photo craftsman. I will never forget the moments I had talking to likeminded people who, despite their skill level, taught me many things and accompanied me throughout my photography journey.
