Ensure that you have scheduled a 30-minute Individual Consultation (IC) in the Google Calendar appointment during the application. 3. Attend your scheduled appointment. 4. Wait for results via email & the Official FB Page of GDGoC-L. 5. Accepted applicants will be announced by the second week of September.

I was a Product Development Lead under the Technology Department for AY 25-26. GDG became a platform where I could cultivate and share my passion for UX/UI through building actual projects and working with my fellow teammates. It also opened doors to valuable opportunities outside of Ateneo, such as being able to go on a company tour at Accenture and connecting with company representatives, allowing me to get an internship with them.

Being part of GDGoC-L as an Externals Officer for Nexus and TechEverywhere last year taught me a lot about who I am outside of just being a student. I developed skills in negotiation, in taking the initiative, and in building lasting relationships with different partners and orgs. These experiences definitely pushed me to get comfortable with things I used to find intimidating, like negotiating terms with people way more experienced than me. What made it fulfilling was watching our partner orgs genuinely enjoy the event and knowing I played a part in making that happen.

Google Developer Groups on Campus-Loyola (GDGoC-L) is a student organization in the Ateneo de Manila University powered by Google Developer Groups that aims to build our members’ skills, careers, and networks in tech industry through our many exciting projects and initiatives. Together we learn in a safe peer-to-peer environment and build solutions forthe Filipino community. Google Developer Groups on Campus are home to more than 700 university-based clubs in different countries around the world. All clubs share one common goal: to grow in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build tech solutions for the community.
