Testimonials

Erin Audrey M. Trinidad
When I first joined LIONS as part of Finance and Logistics, I expected my role to focus on budgets and operations. Instead, my journey from Deputy Director to Director, and eventually Internal Deputy Coordinator, taught me lessons in leadership, service, and responsibility far beyond what I imagined. More than the positions I held, LIONS showed me that leadership is about empowering others. Whether by supporting organizations, improving systems, or simply listening to their concerns, I learned that meaningful service helps communities thrive. Looking back, I'm most grateful for the people, experiences, and lessons that shaped me. LIONS became more than an organization—it became a community that challenged me to grow and believed in my potential every step of the way.

Nigel Thomas M. Yanga
Working alongside the orgs under the LIONS sector taught me far more than any classroom ever could in college. Being part of this community showed me it is built on shared problem solving, understanding and genuine solidarity. I am grateful for the collaboration we shared on with each other, the lessons I learned from the sector leaders themselves, and the quiet, persistent work of building a more inclusive community together
